The Posts overview is the control room for a website's blog posts. You see every post with its status, filter and sort the list, create new posts, open the calendar, and send several posts for approval at once. Blog Settings holds the defaults for new posts.
Before you start
Select the right company and website in the top bar. The overview shows the posts of that website. See Choosing your company and website.
Opening the Posts overview
On the AI App dashboard, do one of the following:
Click ALL POSTS >> next to Keep your clients posted.
Click the Overview card ("View all created blog posts and social media updates.").
The page header shows the website's name and address. The ? icon opens a help document, and the ⋮ icon opens Blog Settings.
Tabs

Finding posts
Status filter
Use the status filter to show All posts, Published, Scheduled, Draft or For Approval.
With All posts selected, the section Scheduled in the next 4 weeks appears above the list. Click Show more to see all of them.
Under it, a line shows the current sort order and the number of posts, for example "Showing posts: Sort By Last Update | 12/40 total posts". Click the sort name to change it.
Language filter
On websites with translations, a language filter lets you show All languages or one language.
Labels
Click a label on a post to show only posts with that label. You see "Filter applied:" with the label name. Click the × to clear it.
Search
Click the search icon to search all posts.
Sort order
Open Blog Settings and choose a Sort Order, for example Sort By Last Update, Sort By Publication Date (DESC), Sort by Name (A-Z), or Show Untitled Drafts. Options starting with Published | or Draft | show only those posts in that order. The list reloads when you pick an option.
Views and the calendar
Use the view icons in the toolbar to switch between List, Card, Text and Compact. On a phone, pick the view from the dropdown. The app remembers your choice.
Click the calendar icon to see the posts in a month calendar. Click a post to preview it, or click a date to create a post for that day.
Creating posts
Button | What it does |
|---|---|
CREATE | Opens an empty blog editor. |
CREATE menu > Create from scratch | Opens an empty blog editor. |
CREATE menu > Create from Post Layout | Lets you pick a saved layout and opens the editor with it. |
CREATE menu > Create from a URL | Opens Promote, which turns a page, blog post or link into a new post. |
Wizard | Opens the blog editor as a step-by-step wizard. |
Create from Post Layout and Create from a URL are available on a computer. See Writing and publishing in the blog editor.
What each post shows
the cover image and title (or "Untitled"),
the status (Published, Scheduled, Draft or For-approval) and the date,
a Pending Review badge when the post was sent for review,
an info icon with "Approved by:" when someone approved it,
labels and, on multilingual websites, language flags. Click a flag to open that language version,
the author,
a chart icon for published posts on websites with statistics.
The Options menu
Click Options on a post:
Option | What it does |
|---|---|
Edit | Opens the post in the blog editor. |
Preview | Shows how the post looks. |
Duplicate | Copies the post. If you manage several websites, choose the website to copy it to and click Duplicate post. |
Translate | Copies the post to one or more of your other websites and translates it into each website's language. Click Translate post to N blog. The translation takes a few minutes. |
Delete | Removes the post after you confirm. For published posts you can switch on Remove posts from social networks to delete the shared social posts too. |
Which options you see depends on your role and on whether you created the post.
Working with several posts at once
Click the checkbox button (Select multiple posts) in the toolbar. On a phone, tap ... and then Select Posts.
Tick the posts, or use the select-all box.
Use the bar at the bottom:
Send for Approval opens Send Posts for Approval. See Using the approval flow.
Duplicate to site copies the selected posts to another website. The originals stay on this site.
Cancel clears the selection.
Blog Settings
Click the ⋮ icon in the page header to open Blog Settings. Change what you need and click Save Changes.
Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
Sort Order | How the post list is sorted (see above). |
Site Language | The language of the website. |
Default Translation Languages | On multilingual websites: the languages pre-selected for translation when you publish a post. |
Default Label | The label added to every new post. Type to search or add a label. |
Add or predefine labels | Prepare labels you use often. |
Default CTA | A call-to-action link set on every new post. |

What Reporters see
Users with the Reporter role on the website see a simpler overview:
only the Blog and Logs tabs,
only posts they work on,
no Blog Settings, no Scheduled in the next 4 weeks section and no batch selection.
They can still create posts, use the wizard, search and use the calendar.
