In the AI App you always work on one company and one website at a time. This article shows how to pick them, what the role labels mean, and what to do when a company or website is missing. At the end you'll find how the company switcher in Accounts works.
Why your selection matters
Everything in the AI App follows the website and company you selected:
Dashboard cards: the cards you see depend on your role on the selected website.
AI Memory: the AI Memory card opens the memory of the selected company. If the selected website has a memory of its own, that one opens instead.
AI Chat: the chat uses the selected company's memory.
Content tools and posts: Topic Ideas, the AI Writer, your posts and publishing all work on the selected website.
Tip: Before you create content, check the website name in the top bar. It's the quickest way to avoid writing for the wrong client.
Switch website from the top bar
The top bar shows the name, language flag and address of the selected website. A down arrow appears next to it when you have more than one website.
Click the website name in the top bar.
In Select Your Site, find the website. Websites are grouped by company. If you have more than three, type in Search sites... to filter them.
Click the website you want. The current website has a check mark.
Each row shows your role on that website. Companies without a connected website are listed under No website connected. Click one of those to work on that company with limited access.
Use Refresh Access if a website you expect is missing, or Cancel to keep your current selection.
The Select/Change Default Account window
This window lists every company and website you have access to. It opens:
when you haven't picked a company yet,
when you click the company name or Switch account in the top bar while no website is selected,
when you click Switch workspace on an empty dashboard.
To choose:
If the list is long, type in Search account.
Find the company. Next to its name you see how many websites you can reach, for example "2 sites", or "no website".
Click Select › on the website you want to work on.
If the company has no website yet, click Continue with limited access instead.
If you have access to exactly one website and nothing is selected yet, the AI App selects it for you.
What the role labels mean
Each row carries a small label with your role. On a website row it shows your role on that website. On a Continue with limited access row it shows your role in the company.

If you have a role in several places, for example in the company and on a team, your highest role counts. See Roles and permissions explained.
Working with limited access
When no website is selected, the top bar shows the company name with two links: Connect your website. and Switch account.
You can still use tools that don't need a website. Anything that does need one shows This feature is only available when you connect your website. with Connect site and Cancel. To connect the client's website, see Connecting a website: the connection handler step by step.
When a company or website is missing
No Account Registered yet. You don't belong to any company yet. Click Create your company to create one in Accounts; you return to the AI App afterwards. Or ask your agency admin to invite you. Go Back closes the message.
A website is missing from the list. You probably don't have access to it. Ask a company owner or admin to give you access, then click Reload Access in your avatar menu, or Refresh Access in Select Your Site.
Your access changed. The AI App checks your access again whenever you come back to its browser tab. If your access to the selected website was removed, you see Website access changed and are asked to pick another website.
No apps assigned yet. Your role on this website doesn't include any apps. See Troubleshooting: the AI App dashboard.
Choosing a company in Accounts
Accounts has its own company switcher at the top of the sidebar, under your agency's name. It's separate from the selection in the AI App.
Click the switcher. It shows the selected company, or All Companies.
Type in Search company... to find a company.
Click the company, or click All Companies to clear the selection.
The switcher decides which company the Memory page in the sidebar shows. With All Companies selected, the Memory page asks you to select a company or open your personal workspace. The switcher also has a Create Company shortcut at the bottom.
