The AI App at app.uptodateconnect.com is where you and your team create content for your clients. There is no side menu: you get around with the top bar and the cards on the dashboard. This tour explains both.
The top bar
From left to right:
Logo: takes you back to the dashboard. If your agency uses white-label branding, you see your agency's logo here.
Website selector: the name, language flag and address of the website you are working on. Click it to switch. When no website is selected, you see the company name with Connect your website. and Switch account. See Choosing your company and website.
Notifications bell: your notifications.
Documentation icon (the question mark): opens help articles in a panel on the right. You can expand the panel or close it again.
AI icon: opens AI Chat full screen, using the selected company's memory. See Using AI Chat.
View toggle: switches the dashboard between card view and list view. It isn't shown on mobile.
Your avatar: opens the avatar menu.
The avatar menu
Menu item | What it does |

Submit Feedback | Opens a form to send feedback or report a problem. |
Reload Access | Loads your websites and access again, for example after an admin gave you access to a new website. |
Check for Updates | Checks whether a newer version of the AI App is available. |
Install App | Installs the AI App on your device, so you can open it like any other app. |
Language / Taal | Opens Select Language. Choose English, Dutch, French, German or Italian for the AI App's menus and buttons. |
Sign out | Signs you out of the AI App and Accounts. See Signing in to your account for switching to another account. |
A floating feedback button is also on screen at all times. It opens the same feedback form.
The dashboard cards
The dashboard groups cards into sections. Click a card to open the tool. The sections you are most likely to see:
Most Used: the first block, with today's date above it. It holds the tools you use most, such as AI Chat, Topic Ideas, AI Writer, Post Planner, AI Calendar, Statistics and Search Stats.
Keep your clients posted: everything around posts, such as Overview, Quick Post, Social Post, Promote and Image Creator. The ALL POSTS >> link opens the Posts overview. See The Posts overview: finding and managing posts.
Content Plans: cards for content plans and content proposals. See Content Proposals, Ideas and Content Plans.
Settings & more: set-up cards such as AI Memory, Social Media Connections, User Profile, Dashboard Layout, Theme and Sites.
Pending For Approval: "Showing all reviews requested from you." The title shows how many posts wait for you, and posts you have already reviewed carry a reviewed label. See Using the approval flow.
Why your dashboard looks different from a colleague's
Not everyone sees the same cards. The cards on your dashboard depend on your role on the selected website. Access to each app per role is set up in Accounts, not in the AI App. So:
Two colleagues with different roles see different cards.
Switching to another website can change your cards, because your role there may be different.
Reporters don't see some cards, such as Post Planner, Statistics, Search Stats, Social Post, Social Media Connections and Moments.
After an admin changes your role, click Reload Access in the avatar menu to see the change.
If your role on the selected website doesn't include any apps, the dashboard shows No apps assigned yet. Click Switch workspace to pick another company or website, or Refresh to check again. If a card you need is missing, ask your agency admin to check your role. If the app isn't available for your company at all, contact the UP-TO-DATE support team.

Reorder your dashboard
In Settings & more, click Dashboard Layout.
In Reorder Dashboard Cards, drag a block by its handle to a new position.
Click SAVE ORDER.
To go back to the original order, click Reset to Default. CANCEL closes the window without saving. The order is saved in the browser you are using, so another browser or device keeps its own order.
Change the theme
In Settings & more, click Theme.
Choose the theme and colours you want the AI App to use.
