Content Proposals, Content Plans and the Task Queue work together. Proposals are ready-made content ideas per campaign type that you approve or reject. Approved proposals become a Content Plan with a publishing schedule. When you generate a plan, the AI writes the blog post drafts, and the Task Queue shows the progress.
Before you start
Select the right company and website in the top bar. See Choosing your company and website.
The Content Plan and Content Proposal cards are in the Plans & Proposals section of the dashboard. It is only shown for some website roles and never for Reporters. If you don't see it, ask your agency admin. See Roles and permissions explained.
Content Proposals
Click the Content Proposal card.
Generating proposals
If there are no proposals yet, you see Select a Campaign Type. Choose a campaign type under Select Campaign Type.
Click Generate Proposals. The proposals are written in the website's language.
To see proposals for one campaign type, use the Campaign: dropdown at the top. All Campaign Types shows everything.
Reviewing proposals
Proposals appear one at a time as cards with a title, description and campaign type. The counter shows where you are ("3 of 12") and how many you selected.
Click the check button to approve a proposal. It is added to Selected Proposals.
Click the X button to reject it. Rejected proposals move to Rejected at the bottom of the page.
Click Start Writing to open the AI Writer with this proposal as the topic. See Writing with the AI Writer.
At the bottom of the page, Generate New Proposals creates a fresh batch.
When you've seen all proposals
You see You've seen all proposals! with:
Start Over to go through them again,
Generate New Ideas for a new batch,
Try a different campaign type: to switch campaigns.
If you selected proposals, click Create Content Plan. The AI prepares them (Optimizing Your Content), and Content Plan Created! shows the Content Publishing Schedule: with:
View Plan to open the plan,
Generate Content to start writing the drafts,
Save & Start Writing to save and start writing, then follow progress in the Task Queue,
Close.
In the Selected Proposals panel you can remove single proposals or click Clear Selection.
Content Plans
Click the Content Plan card. A plan is also created when you save a plan in the Post Planner. See Using the Post Planner.
The plans list
At the top of Content Plans:
View Calendar opens the Content Calendar with your planned posts. Click a post to preview it, or click a date to create a new post for that day.
View Tasks Status opens the Task Queue.
Create New Plan opens the Post Planner.
If you have no plans yet, you see No Content Plans Yet with Create Your First Plan.
Each plan card shows its start date, when it was created, how many items are completed, the publishing time and frequency, and the number of content items.
Plan details
Click a plan to open Content Plan Details:
Each item shows its planned date and time, its keywords, and a status: Pending (not written yet) or Generated (the draft is written).
Edit Plan opens the plan in the Post Planner, where you save with Update Plan.
Delete Plan removes the plan after you confirm. This can't be undone.
Generate Content writes drafts for all items that are not generated yet.
Generating the drafts
Open the plan and click Generate Content.
You see Content Generation Started: "Your content is being generated. You can track the progress in the tasks page."
Click View Tasks to open the Task Queue.
Each finished item becomes a draft blog post for the website, dated according to the plan. You get a bell notification that opens the post in the blog editor. The drafts are not published automatically: review them in the Posts overview and publish, schedule or send them for approval. See The Posts overview: finding and managing posts.
Important: Click Generate Content only once per plan and wait for the tasks to finish. Clicking again while items are still being written can create duplicate drafts.
The Task Queue
The Task Queue shows the AI's writing jobs. It refreshes every 30 seconds ("Refreshing in: 30s"). You can open it from View Tasks Status on the Content Plans page, after Save & Start Writing, or from the Ai Task Manager card in Settings & more.
The counters at the top show Total, Pending, Running, Completed and Failed tasks.
Use Search tasks... and the status filter to find a task.
The table shows the Type, Task, Status and Created date of each task.
Click View Details on a task to see more.
Click Retry on a failed task, or Retry Failed at the top to retry all failed tasks.
When your client gives feedback on content ideas
Emails with content ideas that your client receives include a link to a feedback page, Feedback on AI Suggestions. There, the client:
Chooses What type of feedback are you providing?
Optionally rates the suggestions under How would you rate these suggestions?
Writes Your feedback (required) and, optionally, Specific topics you'd prefer (optional).
Clicks Submit Feedback.
After submitting, the client sees Thank you for your feedback! and can click Regenerate Content Ideas to get new ideas based on the feedback. Generation may take 2 to 3 minutes. When it's done, View New Content Ideas opens the new proposals.
