Content Examples show the AI what the client's work really looks like. For each kind of content they publish (a blog post, a Facebook post, a job ad) you file one or more pieces they already published. The AI then matches the tone, structure, length and format, so a blog post comes back looking like the client's blog posts. It copies how a piece is written, never what it says.
Before you start
You need edit rights on the company memory. See What AI Memory is and how it is organised.
To find examples automatically, the client's website should be crawled first. See Approving a website crawl.
Open Content Examples
Open AI Memory and go to the Branding tab.
Click Content Examples.
The What we produce panel lists every content type in a tree on the left, grouped by kind. Type in the search box to filter it. A blue number next to a type shows how many examples are on file.
Let the platform find examples on the site
Click Find examples on our site. It reads the crawled pages and picks likely candidates.
A yellow bar shows how many pages could be examples. Click Review.
For each candidate, check the title, content type and link, then:
click the check mark (Add to examples) to file it, or
click the cross (Not a good example) to turn it down.
To take every page from the site at once, click Accept (the button shows how many pages from your site). Dismiss all turns all candidates down. Find more looks for more.
A page you turn down isn't offered again on the next search.
Important: Some candidates are drafts written in AI Chat and are marked Written by the AI. Accept one only if the client actually published it. Otherwise the AI ends up learning from itself.
Add an example by hand
Pick the content type in the tree on the left.
Click Add example.
Paste a link to the published piece in the link box and click Fill from link. Check the fields it filled in.
For social posts there is no link box, because social networks don't let the page be read. Paste the text and upload the images yourself.
Complete or correct the fields.
Click Save example.
After saving, the form stays open and the AI reads the piece to work out how it is written. Check that reading, because it steers what gets written.
If Fill from link can't use the page, you'll see Nothing usable on that page, fill it in by hand or Could not read that page. Fill in the fields yourself.
Manage examples
Select a type and stay on Ours to see its examples as tiles.
Click a tile to correct it, then click Save changes.
Hover a tile and click the bin icon (Remove) to delete it.
Click How we do it to set rules that apply only to this type, such as how an article is built. The general rules live under How we write. See How we write: house rules for the AI.
Tips for good examples
File at least one example per channel you write for. The Company summary lists missing channels under its gaps.
Pick pieces the client is proud of and that are current. An outdated or off-brand piece teaches the wrong style.
A few strong examples beat many average ones.
Visual templates
Visual templates, the fourth section of the Branding tab, are the image layouts the AI image creator follows.
Go to Branding > Visual templates.
Click Add from an image, or drag in a picture of a post the client already uses (a Facebook post, a job advert, a seasonal offer).
Wait while it reads the image. It works out the style, the shape and what it needs to be told each time.
Check the template and correct anything that's wrong. The description of the look matters most.
Click Start blank to build a template without an image.
Note: Images attached to a content example don't create a visual template. Add the formats you want the image creator to reuse on the Visual templates page.
